Looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health and mental health can have a variety of knock-on effects on your physical health.
If you’re worried about your mental health or if you’re exhibiting any of the above symptoms, it’s worth speaking to your GP so that they can get a full understanding of both your mental and physical health, alongside how they may be able to help you.
If you don’t feel comfortable speaking to your GP about your mental health at this time, try to speak with a friend, family member or trusted adult first to become more comfortable with discussing your feelings.
If you don’t feel as if you have anyone to talk to or you’re not sure where to go, there are many helplines, such as the Samaritans, which you can call and discuss your thoughts and feelings.
